We asked 8 people who know nothing about the NFL to discuss the Super Bowl

And it went exactly as you’d expect.

WHILE THE SPORT has an ever increasing number of fans in Ireland, for a lot of people, Super Bowl Sunday is the one time of the year they have any interest in American football.

For others, even that isn’t enough to get them watching the NFL.

After a quick survey of our colleagues working for both TheJournal and DailyEdge.ie, we discovered a number of them fell into the second category.

Naturally, we did the decent thing and pressed them on what knowledge they do have:
